My Generation

I am a strong believer in heredity. If you need to know something about someone, look at thier parents. Both my parents are writers, therefore I think I am a good writer. My dad is socially adept and loved by all his friends, a queen-bee, so to speak; I hope that I will one day attain that commanding grace and ease among my peers. Sometimes perhaps I place too much trust in my heritage. Perhaps I suck at writing. Perhaps I will always feel alienated by my peers.

Fuck.

I don't think I can do this. As soon as I write these words, the meaning that they held is lost, my motivation is lost. Maybe blogging isn't for me. i don't know, uit seems like the fire is exinguished as soon as it illuminates the room.

I don't know, I'm rambling. Get used to it.

I need to format my blog and make it look pretty. I'm tired.

In the Beginning...

I wonder how many blog posts have started out with "In the Beginning..." Oh well, I can't come up with something witty to post.

Regardless, this is my blog. You may know me as Captain Piano, you may know me as jojothehunchback, and you may know me in person (hopefully not, as I'd like to retain my anonymity). I am a ninth grade high school student.

Wait, before you roll your eyes. Yes, you will probably find a post or two of me wallowing in self-loathing and rotten emo-ness. You will also see some entertaining anecdotes about high school life.

But, first and foremost, this will be a place to straighten some shit out. See, look at me, I'm acting like there is an actual audience here. I'm acting pretentious as fuck.

Listen, Bitches, this isn't for you. This is for me. I'm not gonna get out a fucking thesaurus to inpress you bastards. I want this to be like some kind of lounge I can chill in. Just relax and stretch out my arms across the page, ignoring lines of code or boundaries.

Awhile ago, I read a biography about Jimi Hendrix. But I didn't read it left-to-right, up-and-down, like most books. No, I read it the way paint splashes across a white sheet of paper. I want this blog to be like that.
